lucky

Our baby finally made it back home. One of our neighbor ladies felt sorry for this little orphaned runt of a buckling and purchased it from it's owner. But when she got it home her dog took a real liking to it. To much so that she had to get rid of it before her dog really hurt it and that's how we ended up with it. My husband decided it needed something more and started feeding it on the bottle. Needless to say he loved the little guy and fed it for 4 months until he wouldn't take the bottle anymore.

A little later the thing that I thought would never happen he was sold to a very nice lady in Rogersville. On one occassion my husband got to see him and low and behold he recognized my husband. My husband told her then if she ever wanted to sell our baby we had first chance. A few months later she came over and make a trade. Our baby for another paint we had. Moral of the story is Lucky is home.
